Emergia had a strong presence at Telcom 2001

TELCOM 2001 AND FORUM "THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS IN CHILE"

Emergia had a strong presence at Telcom 2001: Technology, e-commerce & Management Exhibition & Conference held at the Event Center in Casapiedra, Chile, June 26th through the 28th, 2001. The Forum titled "The Economic Impact of Telecommunications in Chile" was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santiago, Chile on June 29th, 2001.

Emergia sponsored both events and exhibited a corporate booth featuring the broadband services offered and highlighting the Emergia ring being fully operational. During the forum, Emergia executives participated in the panel discussions together with executives from other companies and dignitaries, among them, Christian Nicolai, Secretary of Telecommunications in Chile.

During the events, the participants, which included executives from an array of telecommunications companies and the general publice, discovered Emergia's role as a facilitator of technological growth in the country through its international connectivity services.
