Backed by the Telefonica Group, the leading telecommunications operator in the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking world, Emergia will continue expanding its operations in the Americas and Europe.
Emergia's network covers the major metropolitan areas in South America and connectivity to the USA in Florida and to the main cities in Europe. Emergia has demonstrated a keen understanding of the Americas market.
Emergia provides complete broadband end-to-end transport solutions to its customers by taking care of their immediate and long-term needs, combining a great variety of telecom facilities and dedicated technical support. Emergia takes full responsibility for provisioning, monitoring, and bandwidth trouble-shooting provided on-net and off-net via a single customer care window at Emergia's 24x7 NOCs. Lead times for provisioning are five days for on-net circuits, ranging from STM-1 to STM-64, and are part of the standard services that Emergia has been providing since the beginning of the operation of its 16,000 mile network.
"In spite of tight competition among international carriers and IP providers, Emergia has managed to deliver services in an extremely short time frame with a high degree of innovation and quality of service." said Jose Manuel Munoz, Chief Operating Officer of Emergia. "In our state-of-the-art facilities and with specialized personnel, Emergia has already demonstrated its quick response to these demanding conditions."
Emergia can supply concatenated and non-concatenated circuits, SDH to SONET conversion and complete physical redundancy of the capacity that terminates at the customer's equipment. High on-net reliability results in aggressive SLA commitments for end-to-end circuits. Links from Emergia's PoPs in Sao Paulo, Santiago, and Buenos Aires to the PoPs in Miami are some examples of Emergia's dedication to quality of service for its customers.
